We would like to invite units who are keen to put up items/performances for the pre/post parade performance. Other than mass performances e.g.: Martial Arts Display/Taekwando Display/Dance/Fancy Drills, if there are any individual cadets who is talented in some ways, e.g.: singing / dancing, we will be happy to run an audition to see if it is possible to use this event as a platform to display their talents.

Regarding the National Heritage Badge, you have to come up with a "mini booklet" if you want to obtain this badge. The deadline will be 21st January 2012. You may want to visit the website for places that you can visit. http://www.nhb.gov.sg/WWW/

+Indra Ansari, pls collect the "mini-booklet" from all the teams from your squad and submit to Mr Ho by the above mentioned dateline.

You will need to include the group photo in front of the place that you have visited (as proof of evidence).You can work in groups of 4 each. The brochure / mini-booklet will be like a guide for a tourist to find out more about the place (E.g. National Museum etc). Please check with your Cadet Leader's if you are unsure

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is organising an event termed 'Jamboree
2011' deatils as follows:
Theme:            SG United Learning Journey, 'Jamboree 2011'
Venue:            Orchid Country Club
Date:       19th October 2011 (Wednesday)
Time:       To be confirmed
Audience:   15 cadets
Participants will come together for a 1-day Jamboree and embark on the SG
United Learning Journey. They will get to learn more about the importance
of Communal Harmony and the Community Engagement Programme (CEP) through an array of interesting and interactive workshops. It will be held on the 19th Oct 2011 at Orchid Country Club.
The workshops to be conducted by professionals featuring Cartoon Drawing,
Percussion Music, Photography, Song-writing and Theatre Production. Each
participant will get to attend two out of the five workshops. And at the end of the day, all participants will gather together for an indoor
programme.

Please take note of the following for the Friday trip.

- Reach school by 640am as the bus will leave at 7am sharp. Fall in in canteen with the Unit T-shirt. I will then release the grouping list.
- Reach Vivo City by 730am and Sentosa by 8am.
- Games start at 815am and to end latest by 1115am which we will board the bus @11.45am.
- Reach school before 12.30pm.
- 12.30 - 2pm - Rest & Relax with Mac as lunch, bathing etc.

Things to bring

Extra clothing for "bathing" back in school.
A small mineral water.
Poncho / raincoat / umbrella
Camera, tidbits etc (optional)

Once back in school, we will have our own "R&R time" for 2hours. You are encouraged to bring your own games (rackets, Uno, Monopoly deals etc) to spend your time enjoying with fellow cadets. We should be dismissed earliest by 5pm.

This Friday during the morning session you will be having your Cpl, Sgt theory test for Sec 2s and Sec 3s respectively. You can take a look at the CHRNPCC Blog previous posts for the Things to study for the Theory Test.

Sec 3 CSSP Groups, get all your material prepared. Your CSSP Project Exhbition will be on 19th August. I will be around during this day. Ensure all your boards, powerpoint are all properly done with your props, documents, etc.

**This coming Friday(12th August), those who are involved in the Inter Unit Quiz Competition at HQ, remember to bring your NPCC Full-U, and refer to OC Sir message sent to u for more info.

This year's Area Games Day will be at Si Ling Secondary School. Take a look at the following competitions. Once you have your team with the required number of people, email the names to mjj988@hotmail.com with the name of the competition that your team wants to participate in the subject of the email. Ensure that the team which sends in the first to the above email address will be chosen.

Each team must consist of at least 1 male and 1 female unless otherwise stated. One person can only take part in one competition. Cadets on reserve can play more than one game. Nominating a reserve is not compulsory

The games are as follows. Follow according to the format when sending in to the email. Form your team and send in by 20th July 2011 to the above email address.

There will be a meeting on this Satuday, 2nd July, 8am-12pm at CHR Canteen Area. You will be informing me about your status of the CSSP Project. Each team bring along your latest and updated hardcopy of the CSSP 1 and 2 Report for me to look through. Also, bring along:

-Foolscap papers, writing materials
-Your boards, materials which you are preparing for your CSSP Project.

Apart from this, Oliver, I would like to see your preparation on the Hiking proposal.

Balqis, you will be the in charge for this year's Area Games Day to guide some of the Sec 2s/3s in the organization. I will go through more details on Saturday.

I will also go through the rest of the plan during Friday and Saturday Parades to the Sec 3.

Attached is the grouping list for Friday Paintball game. Teams 1-3 (Group 1), Teams 4-6 (Group 2), Teams 7-8 (Group 3) & Teams 9-10 (Group 4) will follow the respectively timing for different grouping.

All to wear unit t-shirt with track pants for the event. All to bring extra clothings (PE T-shirt plus shorts) as you are allowed to have a wash-up after the Paintball game. Track Pants or long pants (Safety Issue) are compulsory to wear during the game else you will be barred to play the Paintball.
